We are seeking two seasonal farm crew members to join our farm for the 2026 season (March through September or October). Employment hours fluctuate between 25 and 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays for farmers markets. April, May and June are our busiest months. Start times vary depending on weather and sunrise. Permanent employment may become available at the end of the season.

Rainwater Ranch is a family-owned and operated certified organic farm in Winters, CA, specializing in cut flowers and navel oranges. We cultivate high quality fruit and flowers while prioritizing soil health and ecosystem sustainability. Our products are distributed locally through farmers markets, grocery stores, and florists. We are seeking hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the upcoming flower season. Our crew is responsible for a variety of tasks, including flower harvest and storage, general field work such as weeding, planting, transplanting, irrigation, greenhouse care, orchard maintenance, moving sheep, and participating in sales and order preparation, local deliveries, and sales at farmers markets. We are looking for candidates who enjoy physical work outside, thrive in a team environment, and who have a genuine interest in organic, regenerative and sustainable agriculture. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic who learns quickly, works efficiently, and is receptive to feedback. Qualifications: Candidates must be physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours), bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks such as hoeing, shoveling, harvesting, lifting, and carrying buckets. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, especially hot summer temperatures, as part of a small team in a demanding, fast-paced work environment. Prior experience working with flowers and in agriculture is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. Candidates must also have a clean driving record.

Pay starts at $17 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.
